The Verkhovna Rada Committee and the Ministry of Health are studying insurance structures in other countries.

The point is that the state assumes funding for the so-called guaranteed package, which includes emergency medical care, psychiatric, anti-tuberculosis, treatment of infectious diseases, heart attack, stroke, oncology. In this package, the patient does not pay for anything, 'said Radutsky, adding that next year the cancer package will cost 84 thousand UAH. p>
However, the person will pay for other services that are not included in the basic package. For example, it is dental prosthetics, planned non-life-threatening surgery, additional examinations, or more comfortable conditions in the hospital. These are additional services that a person can pay for through voluntary insurance or supplementary insurance. The basic package is paid for by the state, and people can buy extended insurance coverage from insurance companies themselves.
