According to item 36.3 of Art. 36 of the Law of Ukraine 'On compulsory insurance of civil liability of owners of land vehicles'

- 'if several persons are responsible for causing indivisible damage to each other, the amount of insurance indemnity (regular payment) for each of such persons is determined by dividing the amount of damage by the number of such persons.' That is, if the accident occurred with the participation of drivers of two vehicles and both drivers are the culprits, each of them must expect compensation for 50% of the damage caused to him, subject to these restrictions.
