Europrotocol is a convenient way to record the insurance event and provide the relevant documents to the insurance company. In order to use the European Protocol, it is necessary to know under what conditions the European Protocol has legal force.
According to item 33.2. Art. 33 of the Law of Ukraine 'On OTSPVVNTZ', in the event of an accident involving only secured vehicles, in the absence of injured (dead) people, as well as with the consent of the drivers of these vehicles on the circumstances of its commission, in the absence of signs of alcohol , drug or other intoxication or being under the influence of drugs that reduce attention and speed of reaction, these drivers have the right to jointly draw up a report of an accident (European Protocol).
In this case, drivers after the notification (Europrotocol) have the right to leave the scene of the accident and are released from the obligation to inform the relevant units of the National Police of its occurrence. property of the victims may not exceed the maximum amount (UAH 50,000), approved by the Authorized Body at the request of the MTIBU, in force on the day of the insured event.
